The Terroir & Wine Ranges
Bergsig’s vineyards benefit from a unique microclimate created by mountain shadows and cool breezes, allowing for slow ripening that develops complex, distinct flavors. The estate produces three renowned wine collections:
The Bergsig Range: Easy-drinking, classic estate varietals capturing the authentic character of the Breede River Valley.
The Icarus Range: Sophisticated, handcrafted flagships highlighting rich, complex blends.
The Lategan Reserve Range: Ultra-premium, cellar-master selections crafted from exceptional single-vineyard blocks.
The Wine Experience
Visitors are invited to the welcoming tasting room to sample estate wines guided by knowledgeable hosts. Alongside wine tastings, guests can enjoy hearty meals at the Bergsig Bistro with sweeping valley views, explore local birdwatching spots along the riverbanks, or host special celebrations set against the dramatic mountain backdrop.
