A number of birds watching days are held each year, which to date have yielded more than 150 different species, as a result of the varied landscape. A number of new species, not previously seen on the farm, are also now putting in an appearance, such as Hadeda, Marshall Eagle and the Fish Eagle. Bergsig offers the public a bird watching route, that has been designed with bird hides, to get the enthusiast really close to the action.

Hillbilly Farmstall boasts a little bit of everything. From our unique home-grown, home-made chilli sauces, to nguni skins and a klomp udder things – T-shirts, caps and mugs, gifts and crafts, snacks and convenience goods, and some lekker outdoor items like varkpanne, poncho's, cancoolers etc. There is cheese, salami, pickles (and ice cold beer) in the fridges, as well as braaivleis and ice in the freezer. Our pizzas and burgers are droolicious! The views are fantastic! And there is a fun spot for the kids, under the shady karee trees. We are open Thursdays to Mondays, from 10am – 5pm, (and a little later on Friday nights).

Klondyke is a working fruit farm on the outskirts of the Ceres valley, with three self-catering cottages, a campsite and cherry-picking during season. All three cottages are fully equipped for self-catering, but no TV available. We supply bedding, towels, crockery, kitchen equipment and utensils. There is a stove and fridge, microwave, kettle, and toaster in the kitchen. All rooms have heaters and electric blankets on the beds. Each cottage has an inside fireplace and outside braai.
This challenging route is mainly on gravel road, with arduous climbs along loose shale and rock. Hectic downhill hairpins mean you need to keep your wits about you, but wonderful views and a spectacular waterfall are sure to keep you coming back for more.

Rora Orchards consists of Rora and Nooitgedacht farms in Wolseley and Vergenoeg in Ceres. The business is run by Nigel Dicey and son Duncan. Rora farm has been in the family the longest and hosts Rora Orchards pack shed and Farm crèche. Nooitgedacht Farm, situated at the foot of the Mostertshoek, is planted to mostly export pears and plums. Vergenoeg, nestled at the foot of the Ceres Mountains, is planted to pears, peaches and apples and consists of a very efficient office, community center, and crèche.

The River Siding consists of 3 self-catering units. Two of the three units are situated about a half a km from each other, and the Log Cabin a bit closer to the Rondavel. All three are situated on the edge of the river and as such unique in the area. The Rondavel and Cottage have kitchenettes, covered stoeps with dining tables, the Log Cabin has a fully equipped full kitchen. All three have fireplaces inside & braais outside.

All seven cottages are self catering with a fully equipped kitchen to meet your needs during your stay. All bedding and towels are provided for our guests. Six of the cottages have two bedrooms, one double bed in the first room and two single beds in the other room. The seventh cottage has one bedroom and two single beds in the living area, normally used for children.
Wolfpack specializes in pears and packs about 900 000 cartons annually for export. The pears are sorted by electronic weight sizing and stored in a number of regulated and controlled atmosphere cold stores.
