Wolseley Stories July 2026 Roundup | Digital Doorways, Golden Olives & Valley Warmth

Here is a look at the stories that made July 2026 so special across Wolseley

Winter in the Witzenberg Valley brings crisp mountain air, but inside our valley, July 2026 was filled with warmth, exciting fresh beginnings, and strong community connections. From launching a brand-new digital front door for our town to celebrating local produce champions and giving back on Mandela Day, the heart of Wolseley beat with passion and purpose this month.

🚪Opening Our New Digital Front Door 🌐

July marked a major milestone for Wolseley Tourism with the official launch of our brand-new interactive website! Designed by Swell Studio, our overhauled digital gateway at www.wolseleytourism.co.za makes exploring, tasting, and staying in Wolseley easier and more engaging than ever.Whether visitors are mapping out scenic mountain passes, discovering hidden wine cellars, booking a tranquil farm stay, or seeking adrenaline adventures like Ceres Zipline, everything is now accessible in one place.
We’ve also brought modern, tap-and-connect technology right to our visitors' fingertips! In partnership with local creators Infinity Creators, Wolseley Tourism introduced custom NFC-Tag Keyrings at our Annual AGM. The Small and modern keyring works with a simple tap of an NFC-enabled smartphone against linking guests and travelers directly to our website and member profiles.

📝Gathering at Monks Gin for Wolseley Tourism AGM 2026 ✍️

On Wednesday, 28 July 2026, the local tourism family gathered under the rustic roof of Monks Gin for our annual AGM. Surrounded by the aromas of local botanicals and warm camaraderie, local business owners, partners, and community members reflected on the past year's milestones and mapped out strategic plans for the 2026/2027 season. We also extended a warm welcome to our newly elected committee members, who will help steer Wolseley Tourism into its next chapter.

AGM attendees enjoyed a warm, collaborative atmosphere, with the highlight of the morning including the launch of our beautifully overhauled website, now live at www.wolseleytourism.co.za. The new site features interactive maps, fresh visuals, and easy access to everything Wolseley has to offer, from farm stays and wine estates to adventure experiences and local events.

In true valley style, local ingenuity shines—Peppi Stanford at The Creative Hub can even arrange for visitors to collect fresh sourdough bread right at the roadworks!
