Wines of Wolseley 2026 was a resounding success! The air was filled with delicious scents and cheerful chatter, the tables gleamed with simple elegance as the wine flowed seamlessly with perfectly paired canapés.
There is a distinct magic that settles over the the Cape Winelands when the sun dips behind the mountains, casting long, golden shadows across the valley floor. On the 29th of October 2026, that magic found a home inside Mountain Ridge Winery as roughly sixty-five excited wine and food lovers gathered for one of the most anticipated nights on our local calendar: the annual Wines of Wolseley showcase.
Stepping into the venue felt like entering a hidden world crafted entirely for the senses. The air carried the faint, warm sweet scents of spring, while inside, tables gleamed with sophisticated decor, warm candlelight, and meticulously set places that invited guests to linger, taste and celebrate.
From the very first moment, the evening unfolded as a true sensory journey. This wasn't just a tasting; it was a deeply personal encounter with the creators themselves. Winemakers and producers stood proudly beside their bottles, pouring world-class, award-winning wines, craft gins, and artisanal ciders while sharing the stories, trials, and triumphs woven into every vintage.
