Escape to the mountains for Ride the Cape Tulbagh, a premier all-inclusive three-day stage event limited to just 80 participants. Taking place from 9 to 11 October 2026 with registration opening at De Stilte Farm, this curated journey blends thrilling cycling routes with indulgence, local hospitality, and fine dining.
- Day 1 (20 km): Kick off the weekend along the foothills of the Witzenberg Mountains, navigating the Klein Witzenberg switchbacks and finishing with an exhilarating descent via the Corkscrew singletrack back to De Stilte.
- Day 2 (50.5 km): Tackle the most challenging yet rewarding day of the ride across the Witzenberg and Tulbagh trail networks, capped off with bubbles, burgers, and an afternoon olive tasting at Twee Jonge Gezellen.
- Day 3 (40.5 km): Savour the final stretch through the heart of the Witzenberg Valley along smooth gravel roads and railway lines, concluding with a celebratory Cape-inspired lunch at the finish line.
Designed as an immersive getaway where adventure meets indulgence, the weekend includes fully supported water points, professional bike washing and mechanics, luxury glamping or guesthouse accommodation, and evening dinners under the stars
Directions
From the N1, take the Rawsonville (R101) offramp and turn left onto Goudiniway. At the T-junction, turn right, staying on Goudiniway. Turn left onto the R43 towards Ceres and follow it for 22km. Turn left towards Wolseley, drive through the town, and turn left onto the R46 towards Tulbagh. After 1km, turn right onto Boontjiesrivier road. De Stilte is on this road between Tulbagh and Wolseley; follow the 2.7km gravel road to De Stilte
